Current Programs

At The River Center, our programs are here for parents and caregivers. From Baby Time to Morning Yoga, we offer support, connection, and stress relief. Whether you’re a new parent, a kinship caregiver, or raising a child with differences, you’ll find resources and community to help you feel confident and cared for so that you and your family can thrive.

Baby Time

Babies and their caregivers gather for unstructured play, socializing, and discussion at the New Ipswich Library. Come connect with other parents/caregivers and their babies.

Walk & Talk

Trying to find ways to keep your body moving this year? Join The River Center for a walk from fall to winter to spring! Parents and caregivers alone or with your children are welcome.

See the ABLE not the LABEL

See the ABLE not the LABEL is a peer-led support group for caregivers, in the Monadnock Region, navigating the unique needs and strengths of their children. Whether your child has a diagnosed disability, developmental difference, or you're simply facing challenges that feel outside the typical parenting experience, you are welcome here.

Play & Create

Play & Create takes place at various libraries across the area. We’ll have playtime, blocks, crafts, instruments, and more! In the summer, it happens on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Stephenson Memorial Library in Greenfield. During the school year, Ingalls Memorial Library in Rindge also hosts the program.
