2. Don't Stress
Don’t stress about having a planned activity- just being outside is enough!

3. Let Them Explore!
Let them feel the grass, climb on logs or rocks… whatever you have around your house.  It is through this exploration that they learn so much.  All these new sensory experiences help them discover and understand the world around them.

4. Don't Fear The Dirt
Dirt is full of all sorts of good natural biomes.  It is so beneficial to let them touch all the things-dirt, leaves, sticks and all sorts of things.  They are washable, LET THEM GET DIRTY!!

5. Freedom Is A Great Tool
Feel free to back away a little and see where they go or what they explore.  This is not to say that you should not interact with your child but they do not need our guidance and input all the time.  Little bits of unguided exploration can be so fun for them and also so fun for you to see just how much they are capable of!
