Volunteer Spotlight: Suzanne Robinson

Suzanne Robinson is not only an engineer, an outdoorswoman, a master puzzler, numbers guru, and people person, but she is also a vital part of our Tax and Money Coaching programs here at The River Center.

​Suzanne’s passion for helping people with their financial health comes from her father’s involvement with his local AARP, where he volunteered to help folks with their taxes for several years.  

Suzanne is passionate about volunteering, she says, “it’s amazing how helping others can ultimately help ourselves. We are hard-wired to help others so when we do, we are healthier and happier (studies prove this).” With her free time, Suzanne hikes, runs, canoes, and spends time with her family. 

​She sees her future here in the Monadnock region, continuing to volunteer with The River Center and pursuing more personal projects, such as gardening and guest lecturing. We thank you Suzanne for your continued service to our community!  On volunteering with the tax program, she exclaims, “I really enjoy making peoples’ visits to get their taxes done as enjoyable as getting your taxes done can be.  I love seeing the same people each year – my regulars!”
